About MemoryPeaks

MemoryPeaks was born from a simple idea: some of the best pictures of you live on other people's phones, drives and shoeboxes. We built this place so friends, family and classmates can hand those memories back to you — and so you can share them again with the people who matter.

1. Setting up your account

Click Sign up, pick a screen name (the one thing always searchable), and add a password. Add as much profile info as you like later — hometown, schools, socials — and use the privacy toggles to choose what's searchable. Confirm your email so password resets reach you.

2. Finding other people

Use Search (top nav). Default mode finds by screen name. Switch to "All fields" to search across opt-in details — comma-separate terms like "astor, lakeview high school", partial matches work.

3. Inviting friends to share photos of you

From your dashboard, click New invite link. Copy and send it to anyone. When they open it they land on a pre-filled upload page just for your album.

4. Reviewing pending photos

Everything friends upload arrives private in your Pending queue. For each photo: keep private, move to a public album, or delete. You can also rotate sideways photos and edit caption / date / location. Each photo shows who submitted it (and their email) in case you want to ask for a higher-resolution copy.

5. Organizing albums

Create albums on your dashboard. Move photos between albums with the "Move to album…" dropdown on any photo card. Set any photo as the album cover (star icon) — and feature one favorite as your profile hero (image-down icon) on your public profile.

6. Sharing your profile

Anyone can view your public albums at /u/yourname. Use the Share button on your profile to copy a link with a rich social preview card.

7. Notifications

In Edit profile → Email notifications opt in to instant emails or a daily digest when someone uploads a new photo of you.
